Mom’s Apple Pancakes
You’ve gotta try these apple pancakes.
They are just to die for.
Fluffy, light, and filled with flavour. A super fun twist to just your regular weekend pancakes. And, now that the Fall weather has officially arrived, it’s the perfect breakfast or Breakfast for Dinner this month.
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour (can sub in a GF flour)
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp granulated sugar
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/3 tsp baking soda, dissolved in 1 tsp water
1 egg
3 tbsp butter, melted
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 cup milk (can sub a milk alternative)
1 cup apples, peeled and grated- out go-to is Empire Apples
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine flour, bakin powder, salt, suar adi nutmeg.
In separate dish, mix baking soda ,egg, butter, vanilla and milk.
Combine both mixtures, stirring only until blended.
Fold in grate apple.
Bake on a hot lightly greased griddle.
When batter is full of holes, turn over to brown on the other side.
Turn pancakes only once while cooking.
Enjoy with a side of sliced apples and maple syrup.
